Letitia James, the power-hungry New York Attorney General, is at it again, going after former President Donald Trump’s properties like a wild cat on the prowl. This leftist attorney general seems to have made it her personal mission to take down Trump, and now she’s aiming to seize his beloved Trump National Golf Club Westchester and Seven Springs estate if he can’t cough up a whopping $464 million fine she slapped on him.

Showing her true colors, James wasted no time in registering the judgment against Trump in Westchester County, making it crystal clear that she’s ready to pounce on his properties like a hungry lion if he doesn’t pay up by Monday. And it’s not just Trump in her crosshairs – she’s also going after the Trump Organization, as well as Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump. Talk about overreach!
Of course, Trump’s legal team isn’t taking this lying down. They’re trying to wiggle their way out of the $464 million bond, claiming it’s practically impossible to secure such a massive sum. And they’re not wrong! I mean, who in their right mind would expect someone to come up with that kind of cash on a whim? It’s like James is playing a real-life game of Monopoly with Trump’s properties as her playthings.
And let’s not forget the voices of reason chiming in here. Former Acting U.S. Attorney General Matt Whitaker and others are calling foul on this whole charade, citing the 8th Amendment and warning of excessive fines and cruel punishment. It’s like they’re trying to bring some sanity to this circus James is orchestrating. Let’s hope they succeed in reigning in her over-the-top power grab and bring some common sense back to the table. After all, this is America, not some banana republic where politicians can run amok unchecked!
