First up, Governor Kathy Hochul, the queen of liberal nonsense, signed a bill requiring colleges to post crime stats on their websites and investigate hate crimes.
They’re now forcing schools to tell incoming students about crime prevention measures. What happened to building character by learning to fend for yourself?
The bleeding hearts in the Senate also passed a law giving free menstrual products to middle and high school students at nonpublic schools. And not only that, they’re banning words like “feminine hygiene products” and “sanitary napkins.”
They’ve now made Lunar New Year an official school holiday, just to pander to the Asian American Pacific Islander community. And if that’s not enough, they’re closing down public schools for Diwali, a Hindu celebration. What ever happened to celebrating good old American holidays like Thanksgiving and the Fourth of July?
