It’s open season on conservatives in America—and the liberal media can barely contain its glee. The latest outrage? ABC’s late-night “funny man” Jimmy Kimmel decided it was hilarious to label Melania Trump an “expectant widow.” Let’s not pretend this is some edgy comedy. This is a disgusting, thinly veiled wish for harm against a former president, right on national television.
Of course, the left cheers, shrugs, or ignores it. Imagine if someone aimed a joke like that at Michelle Obama or Jill Biden. ABC would drop everything, launch investigations, and Kimmel himself would be groveling on air. But when it’s Melania Trump—America’s most elegant, soft-spoken, and underappreciated First Lady—there’s not even a slap on the wrist. The hypocrisy is off the charts.

What’s even more disturbing is the timing. Kimmel’s so-called joke aired just days before a gunman targeted the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. You’d think in times like these, when political violence is dangerously real, the media elites might dial back their hate. But no—anything goes, so long as conservatives are the punchline.
Melania isn’t staying silent. She’s demanding that ABC fire Kimmel, which is exactly what should happen when a network host crosses the line into outright slander. Liberals always preach about safety, kindness, and decency—until it’s their side hurling filth. Then they call it “comedy.” The double standards are sickening.
The left pretends to care about unity and civility, but their actions show otherwise. They’d rather demonize political opponents for cheap laughs than take real responsibility for the poison they pump into American culture. Is it any wonder trust in the media is at rock bottom? Maybe it’s time for ABC to grow a backbone—or are they too busy counting ad dollars from globalist interests to remember what decency looks like?
