Conservative firebrand journalist Jonathon Owen Shroyer, known for his unapologetic truth-telling, has been handed down a 60-day prison sentence for what some radical leftists are dubbing “speech crimes.” The charges against Shroyer stem from his alleged involvement in the events that took place on January 6, 2021, in DC.
The corrupt Department of Justice (DOJ) has accused Shroyer of knowingly entering a restricted building without lawful authority and engaging in disorderly conduct on Capitol Grounds. But let’s get one thing straight, folks. Shroyer is an American patriot who was simply exercising his right to free speech and fighting for truth and justice!
As a conservative talk-show host associated with the website Infowars, Shroyer has been a staunch critic of the highly dubious 2020 Presidential Election results. Leading up to January 6, he had the audacity to make public statements expressing his concerns about the certification of the Electoral College vote. And you know what? He was absolutely right to do so! We cannot stand idly by while our great nation is teetering on the precipice of socialism.
Sure, Shroyer may have used powerful rhetoric to rally the crowds. He chanted “1776!” and passionately proclaimed that Americans are prepared to fight to restore and save the republic. But let’s not forget that these are just words, words that reflect the frustrations and deep-seated concerns of millions of patriotic Americans. We can’t let the radical left silence our voices!
Now, here’s where it gets interesting. On the day of the so-called “Capitol breach,” Shroyer was seen leading a crowd toward the Capitol building. Yes, he was there, in the midst of the action, but let’s be clear. There is absolutely no evidence linking Shroyer to any acts of violence or vandalism inside the Capitol. None! Nada! Zilch! So, what are they really trying to accomplish by targeting him?
Here’s the kicker, folks. Shroyer had a run-in with the law back in 2019 when he dared to disrupt a House Judiciary Committee meeting. As a result, he entered into a Community Service Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA), which included a condition to stay away from the U.S. Capitol and its grounds. But hey, in case you didn’t notice, that agreement was still active on January 6, 2021. Talk about setting someone up for failure!
Now, the loyal supporters of Shroyer argue that he was simply doing his job as a journalist, covering this monumental event. And you know what? They’re absolutely right! His provocative statements may have ruffled a few feathers, but they were well within the bounds of protected speech. The fact that he complied with authorities, provided evidence voluntarily, and even participated in a proffer session should speak volumes about his innocence.
But the corrupt prosecution won’t have any of it. They claim that Shroyer’s speeches and calls for action contributed to an atmosphere that led to the breach of the Capitol. Seriously? Are they suggesting that American citizens cannot be trusted to think for themselves and make their own decisions? This is a dangerous precedent to set, folks! We must defend our right to express our opinions without fear of persecution!
To make matters worse, the DOJ recommended a whopping 120-day prison term for Shroyer. They base this outrageous request on the fact that he allegedly disseminated election disinformation to hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of viewers. Let’s call it what it really is, folks. Shroyer was calling out the irregularities and questionable practices surrounding the election. He was sounding the alarm, warning us that if Joe Biden became president, our fundamental freedoms would be at risk.
But the corrupt leftists won’t stop there. They argue that Shroyer’s influence was apparent since some of the people who listened to him ended up entering the Capitol. This guilt by association tactic is disgusting, folks! Shroyer can’t control how others interpret his words or what actions they decide to take. The blame lies solely with the individuals who chose to commit illegal acts, not with Shroyer or any other conservative journalist.
Let’s not forget that the events of January 6 were not an isolated incident. Shroyer had been sounding the alarm for weeks, expressing his concerns about the election and the potential ramifications of certifying the results without proper scrutiny. He declared that “we are the new revolution” and passionately urged Americans to fight for their rights. That’s the America we know and love, folks! A nation where we stand up for what we believe in and never back down from a fight.
In the end, the left’s attempt to silence conservative voices like Jonathon Owen Shroyer is nothing short of a travesty. We must rally behind him, support him, and fight for his freedom of speech. Let this be a wake-up call for all Americans—our liberties are under attack, and we must stand strong against this assault on our constitutional rights!
