The Queen of Liberal Hypocrisy, U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), has once again shown her true colors by joining her fellow Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives in a call to stop an arms sale to Israel. It seems like every day we witness the left’s betrayal of our strongest ally in the Middle East, Israel.
Pelosi, known for her flip-flopping antics, recently signed a letter whining to President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken about an arms sale to Israel following an airstrike that tragically killed aid workers trying to help Palestinians in Gaza. But let’s not forget, the Democrats conveniently ignore the countless rockets Hamas launches at innocent Israeli civilians on a daily basis.
While Pelosi and her squad cry about “humanitarian concerns,” not all Democrats are drinking the Kool-Aid. Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) has some sense left in him, recognizing the importance of Israel’s defense in the face of looming threats from Iran. It’s refreshing to see a Democrat with a backbone standing up for what’s right.
It’s no surprise that Biden, who already can’t seem to remember what day of the week it is, is getting swayed by the anti-Israel sentiment within his party. His recent chat with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu only highlights the left’s shift away from supporting our allies. But hey, at least Blinken gave us a good laugh by talking about “measurable steps” and “concrete actions” from Israel while ignoring the real cause of the conflict – Hamas terrorism.
In the end, it’s a shame to see the Democratic Party torn apart by those who prioritize virtue signaling over standing with our allies. Let’s hope common sense prevails, and the arms sale to Israel continues to ensure their security in a region plagued by terror and instability. Wake up, Democrats, and smell the coffee – Israel needs our support, not our betrayal.
