Nancy Pelosi, the powerbroker Democratic congresswoman, proved once again that she is the queen of hypocrisy. On Thursday morning, Pelosi was asked about her criticism of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s decision to launch an impeachment inquiry without a full House vote. McCarthy had pointed out that Pelosi had set this precedent during the impeachment of former President Donald Trump. But in her typical fashion of deflection and denial, Pelosi spun a web of lies.
In an interview on MSNBC, Pelosi claimed that McCarthy’s accusation was “hogwash” and even had the audacity to question why the press kept repeating it. Well, Nancy, maybe the press keeps repeating it because it’s the truth! In October 2019, Pelosi rejected calls for a vote on her decision to impeach Trump, claiming that a full vote was not necessary because her investigation was already underway. She arrogantly declared that she had all the power needed to compel testimony.
But now that the tables have turned and a Democrat is in the hot seat, Pelosi wants to pretend like she never said any of that. It’s amazing how conveniently she forgets her own words and actions when it suits her narrative. This blatant hypocrisy from the Speaker of the House further proves that Democrats will do whatever it takes to maintain their grip on power.

Pelosi’s latest falsehood only adds fuel to the fire of the narrative that Democrats say one thing about President Trump but do another once the same rules are applied to a Democratic president. They want to have it both ways, playing by their own set of rules when it benefits them and then crying foul when Republicans follow suit. It’s a classic case of “do as I say, not as I do” from the left.
And let’s not forget about the lack of evidence of any wrongdoing by President Biden. While Republicans like House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan have laid out the reasons why potential wrongdoings by Biden should be investigated, Democrats continue to cling to their false narrative that Biden is innocent. It’s clear that they will stop at nothing to protect their chosen leader, even if it means ignoring the mounting evidence against him.
In the end, Nancy Pelosi’s hypocrisy knows no bounds. She will say and do anything to maintain her power and push her agenda, regardless of the consequences. But the American people are not fooled. We see through her lies and deceit, and we will hold her and the rest of the Democrats accountable for their actions. The truth will prevail, no matter how hard Pelosi tries to spin it.
