The Pentagon is catching flak yet again for their wasteful spending, as it was revealed that service members took advantage of the covered abortion travel policy a whopping 12 times in the latter half of 2023. Oh, the audacity! As if our hard-earned tax dollars weren’t being squandered enough already!

The policy, intended to counteract restrictions on abortion access, cost the Department of Defense nearly $45,000 in just six months. That’s money that could have been better spent on our military’s actual needs, not on playing politics with reproductive rights. It’s outrageous that the Pentagon would stoop so low as to fund abortions while circumventing state laws and federal regulations. Shameful!
Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin needs to get his priorities straight. Instead of focusing on strengthening our national defense, he’s busy enabling service members to claim reimbursements for abortions and assisted reproductive technologies. What a complete disregard for the sanctity of life and the values that make America great.
It’s appalling to think that our brave men and women in uniform are being used as pawns in the left’s radical agenda. Our military should be focused on protecting our country, not subsidizing controversial medical procedures. We need leaders who will stand up for traditional values and ensure that taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly.
Senator Tommy Tuberville was right to stand up against this madness by blocking officer confirmations. We need more lawmakers like him who are willing to fight for what’s right and push back against the liberal elites trying to undermine our military. Let’s hope that the Pentagon comes to its senses and puts an end to this outrageous policy once and for all. God bless America!
