Rep Cory Mills Ramps Up Biden Impeachment Efforts Over Israel Policy

Florida Republican Rep. Cory Mills is taking action to expand his efforts to impeach President Biden. He accused the president of engaging in a “quid pro quo” by allegedly pressuring Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to change his military strategy in exchange for withholding weapons shipments to Israel. Mr. Mills plans to meet with House Speaker Mike Johnson to bolster his case for impeachment.

While Republicans are already conducting an impeachment inquiry into Mr. Biden’s business dealings and their connection to foreign powers, Mr. Mills emphasized that his effort is a separate case. He aims to strengthen his impeachment articles by collaborating with other House Republicans to gain more support.

In addition to the alleged “quid pro quo” with Israel, Mr. Mills argued that President Biden committed multiple impeachable offenses. He accused the president of violating the Constitution by canceling student loan debt without going through the Supreme Court, which, according to Mr. Mills, was a tactic to “buy votes.” He also criticized Mr. Biden for not fulfilling his duties at the U.S.-Mexico border, claiming that the president is ignoring his constitutional obligations.

Mr. Mills intends to build upon his impeachment push after discussing with other House Republicans to address their concerns and gain more support for his case. He expressed his belief that there are numerous reasons to pursue impeachment against President Biden based on his actions as president.
