Another one bites the dust! Rep. Adam Schiff, the infamous Democrat from California, has been officially censured by the US House of Representatives. The vote tally was 213 to 209 with six members cowardly voting “present”. This vote is long overdue as Schiff has been exposed time and time again for his corrupt actions and lies.

The vote was brought forward by freshman representative Anna Paulina Luna, a brave Republican from Florida. Schiff attempted to defend himself on the House floor, but his words only solidified his guilt. He claimed that the censure was an honor and flattery, even though it was a result of his lies about the last election.

It’s no surprise that Schiff has been such a vocal opponent of Republicans and one of the strongest supporters of the fake Russian collusion scandal. This news serves as a victory for not only Republicans, but for the entire country. Schiff’s lies and deceit have made it nearly impossible for our country to move forward.
After the revised censure motion was passed, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy delivered the official results, putting Schiff in his place once and for all. This is just the beginning of holding corrupt politicians accountable for their actions. Hopefully, Schiff’s censure will serve as a warning to all other politicians who think they can get away with lying and manipulating the American people.
The House has made it clear that actions, such as Schiff’s, are not going to be tolerated. The country needs representatives who work for the people, not their own political agendas. The censure of Rep. Adam Schiff is a step in the right direction for restoring the American people’s trust in their government.
