Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina recently stated that he believes there will be anarchy in our streets if President Trump is prosecuted by the feds for the improper handling of secret materials and that he believes this will happen.
The words that Lindsey Graham made were reportedly made on FOX News, and he warned that there would be "riots in the streets." Townhall reported this information.
The senator from South Carolina asserts that President Trump is held to "double standards," adding that the law does not apply to the former president.
Townhall reports that President Trump re-posted the FOX interview on his Truth Social account, indicating that he found it to be worthy of his endorsement.
This comes after the Department of Justice revealed images showing papers – many of which were labelled 'top secret' – on the carpet of President Trump's Mar-a-Lago property during the August 8th FBI search. The photos were included in a new report that was provided by the Department of Justice.
According to the Daily Mail, as a response to the images, President Trump stated that the FBI agents may have been faking that it was him who dropped the sensitive documents on the floor of Mar-a-Lago. This was reportedly mentioned by Trump in response to the photos.
In a separate message, President Trump said that the FBI is purposefully sowing uncertainty in order to give the impression that there is a great deal more to the story than initially thought.
He stated that they removed the papers from their packaging, threw them on the ground, and dispersed them in order to give the impression to the media that they had discovered a "big find"
In addition, he suggested that there may have been some kind of improper conduct because he claimed that no representation for him was permitted to be there during the search, and that this included his own legal team.
