In a surprising turn of events, the National Archives has discovered a whopping 82,000 pages of emails sent and received by none other than Vice President Joe Biden. That’s right, folks, Biden’s email scandal may even put Hillary Clinton’s to shame! Investigative reporter John Solomon pointed out that this number exceeds the amount that got Clinton in hot water all those years ago.
It turns out that Biden was using not one, not two, but three pseudonym email accounts during his time as Vice President. Talk about secrecy! These accounts were under the names “Robin Ware,” “Robert L. Peters,” and “JRB ware.” The Southeastern Legal Foundation filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit to get access to these emails, and the National Archives has been feeling the heat ever since.
Now, according to a court filing, the Archives has admitted to finding approximately 82,000 pages of potentially responsive documents. That is a massive amount of material! But don’t worry, they’re diligently processing these documents and preparing to release non-exempt portions on a monthly basis. It seems like they’re realizing just how serious this email scandal could be.

Let’s not forget that using private email for government business is a big no-no. The Federal Records Act clearly states that officials like Biden are required to preserve all government-related communications conducted on their private accounts. It’s a good thing Biden handed these emails over to the National Archives, otherwise, he could have been in even hotter water.
Now, the real question is: will any of these emails contain classified information? So far, there’s been no indication, but Biden is currently under criminal investigation for mishandling classified documents from his time as Vice President. Special Counsel Robert Hur recently interviewed him as part of this investigation. Looks like Biden’s got some explaining to do.
It’s worth noting that even Clinton’s email scandal pales in comparison. She only provided the State Department with approximately 55,000 hard-copy pages, and we all remember the classified information mishaps she had.
