Crockett claims she criticized Abbott’s immigration policies, not his disability. Yet her deliberate nickname choice reveals a darker strategy: dehumanize opponents rather than debate ideas. This mirrors past Democratic attacks, like Travis County Judge Sarah Eckhardt’s 2019 jab that Abbott “hates trees because one fell on him”.
