The J6 Committee Has Just Put Their Own Foot In It Regarding the Evidence Contained in Cassidy Hutchinson’s Testimony

The testimony of Cassidy Hutchinson, who had previously worked for Mark Meadows while he was serving as former Chief of Staff of the White House, was covered by us earlier.

As we previously mentioned, she asserted that President Donald Trump attempted to go to the Capitol despite being told by Secret Service agents that they would not be going there and that he then lunged at the agent who had told him that they would not be going there. She also claimed that he was able to grab the wheel of The Beast.

As you may recall, we pointed out a number of flaws in her account, one of which being the fact that she was not there for any of the events in question and that the information in question was purportedly sent to her by a representative. Even if you accept that she was speaking the truth, she was practically spreading rumors with what she was saying. However, it was based on hearsay, and it was strange that they had her testify to it rather than the agents themselves.

The story was unbelievable on its face, as we pointed out, because it claimed that Trump, at the age of 74, who Democrats have ridiculed and tried to claim can't walk down a ramp, is now unbelievable strong and able to get previous agents to grab the wheel of a moving, presidential limo. This is something that Democrats have mocked and tried to claim about Trump.

🚨🚨🚨

Today, January 6th Committee “witness” Cassidy Hutchinson alleged President Trump tried to wrestle the steering wheel of “The Beast” Presidential Limo away from a Secret Service Agent.

There’s only one explanation for this. I break it down in this video: pic.twitter.com/OxXtAdKJZe

In that case, what evidence did they believe they have about the riot? Unfortunately, it doesn't prove anything, despite the Committee's best efforts to mislead everyone and imply that it does. Take note of the misleading assertion made here concerning the "armed mob."

Today's testimony makes clear that Trump wanted to go to the Capitol with the armed mob, despite warnings not to do so from his advisors.

In point of fact, if Trump had want to travel there, it's possible that he intended to assist in bringing calm to the situation. This would appear to suggest the contrary of what the Committee is trying to establish; if he had planned the riot and knew it was going to happen, why would he walk into the thick of it?

Be that as it may, take note of the ways in which the statements made by the Committee and those made by Hutchinson in her hearsay evidence are different.

She said that the agent had stated that this had place in The Beast. They are now making the argument that Trump was in a suburban area. Which one is it, then? Whoops. It seems as if you guys did not get your tale straight there, which has the tendency to blow apart the remainder of the plot. So, what exactly is going on here?

This is the difficulty that arises when you just have hearsay testimony, and you hurry to put on stuff that you haven't examined, since getting Trump is your goal rather than the truth. This is how you get gored by the truth, as we highlighted when the Secret Service said that Bobby Engel, the agent who was supposedly engaged in the automobile incident, and the driver were ready to state that this isn't true. This is how you get gored by the truth. But from the beginning, the entire thing made no sense, and the Committee basically played their hand much too aggressively, to the point where they may have just blew themselves up with the falsehoods they said.
