In my opinion, the Biden administration's efforts to phase out fossil fuels are cruel.
Democrats are presently engaged in changing the United States into an eco-friendly global corporate state obedient to governments and multinational CEOs throughout the world. However, the majority of people have had a difficult time adjusting, and ordinary Americans are now facing financial hardship because of Biden's energy policies.
When asked by lawmakers on Tuesday about the benefit of rising gas costs, Transportation Secretary and possible 2024 presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg summed it up well.
Buttigieg testified before the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, saying that higher gas prices under Biden's administration are exactly what the country needs. The former mayor claims that Americans cannot make the switch to a green energy economy without significant increases in gas prices.
When asked how Americans might alleviate financial strain at the pump, Buttigieg responded, that the more pain we are all enduring from the high price of petrol, the more advantage there is for those who can access electric vehicles.

Wait, did Buttigieg just invoke the "no pain, no gain" principle to justify a total transformation of the American economy into a "green" fascist state? That's really touching!
The Secretary of Transportation is still pushing for government subsidies and federal handouts to make electric vehicles "cheaper" for consumers, as this is the only way a Democrat knows how to promote their wider adoption.
The Democratic Party continues to demand that Americans, who are struggling under the weight of Bidenflation and a generally stagnant economy, spend every single cent we have on an electric vehicle.
According to Kelley Blue Book, the average price of an EV in November 2021 was $56,437, an increase of over 6% from the same month in 2020.
And yet, despite Democrats' claims to the contrary, electric vehicles are a major source of pollution. It would require four times as much electricity to charge the cars of the ordinary household as the average household consumes on air conditioning, Representative Thomas Massie told Buttigieg on Tuesday.
Democrats are certain that, with a few well-crafted laws and some well-spent tax funds, they can alter the environment or even reverse global warming. It's safe to say that the level of malignant narcissism among prominent Democrats is at an all-time high.
