What is it about liberals and their uncanny ability to trip over their own narratives? Just a few months back, the so-called “liberal media” had the audacity to spin tales about how the Department of Government Efficiency, led by none other than Elon Musk, was putting a damper on Donald Trump’s political stock. Around the same time, outlets like CNN were breathlessly claiming Trump’s approval ratings were plummeting faster than a lead balloon. Spoiler alert: they weren’t.
Despite the narrative pushed by the left, recent polls revealed why American citizens are less persuaded by this fake news charade. In fact, when asked about the Trump-Musk alliance and their efforts to cut the fat from federal spending, most Americans showed overwhelming support. Trump’s address to Congress was a resounding hit, with 77% of viewers approving of his plans to slice government waste and streamline operations. CNN may have been reluctant to admit it, but the American public just took its dosage of reality.
Even the once stalwart critics over at CNN had to concede that Trump’s efforts to rein in waste via the DOGE initiative were, astonishingly, welcomed by the masses. It’s almost as if the American people are catching on to the genuine efforts being made to eliminate government inefficiencies—which, let’s face it, is long overdue. So go ahead, keep shouting into the void, Democrats. Your approach is not only unpopular; it’s downright archaic.

New polling data paints an even clearer picture. Take for instance the findings where 77% of respondents backed Trump’s immigration policies. When a whopping 76% of people approved of his speech, and nearly as many were in favor of booting out congressmen who dared to disrupt it, it’s clear that the American public is paying attention and yearning for strong leadership. Meanwhile, liberal media outlets continue to reel from these revelations; however, that’s a small price to pay for being steeped in denial.
As the tragic drama of the Democratic brand unfolds, one thing remains glaringly evident: their ideas are stale and their policies illiberal. The more the left opens its mouth, the more it alienates the very people it claims to represent. In a political landscape ripe for change, the American people are clamoring for efficiency and accountability—and it appears they’ve found champions in Trump and Musk. So, buckle up, because this is going to be a wild ride as the liberal narrative continues to crumble under the weight of reality.
