In a stunning turn of events, former President Donald Trump is reclaiming Pennsylvania, the swing state that was narrowly snatched away from him by President Biden in 2020. Talk about a comeback! Trump’s victory in the Keystone State in 2016 was just a taste of what’s to come in the future.
According to the latest Quinnipiac poll, which carefully surveyed 1,584 sensible registered Pennsylvania voters from June 22 to 26, Trump is leading in a hypothetical 2024 rematch with 47 percent of the vote, leaving Biden in the dust with a measly 46 percent. It’s clear that voters are realizing they made a grave mistake in electing Biden, but better late than never, right?
Not only is Trump dominating in the potential 2024 rematch, but he’s also leading the pack in the crowded Republican primary. With a staggering 49 percent of the vote among surveyed GOP voters, Trump is showing the world that once again, he’s the man to beat. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, loved by many conservatives for his strong leadership, came in second place with a respectable 25 percent, leaving former Vice President Mike Pence and Chris Christie in the dust with a mere five percent each.
But it’s not all good news for the Democrats. In the Democratic primary, Biden may have a temporary boost from his presidency, but it’s nothing to write home about. He only managed to garner support from 71 percent of respondents, while Robert F. Kennedy Jr., with his famous name, trailed far behind with a lackluster 17 percent. Let’s face it, the Democrats are desperately searching for someone to fill the void left by Biden’s weak leadership, resulting in author Marianne Williamson magically polling at a laughable five percent.
Speaking of Biden’s leadership, let’s just say his approval rating in Pennsylvania is sinking faster than the Titanic. Despite making multiple visits to the state, only 39 percent of those polled have a favorable view of his job performance, while a whopping 58 percent selected unfavorable. Maybe it’s time for Biden to retire and focus on his memoirs because leading a country is clearly not his strong suit.
While Biden’s popularity plummets, Pennsylvanians seem to have found a glimmer of hope in recently elected Governor Josh Shapiro, a Democrat. A solid majority of voters, 57 percent to be exact, believe Shapiro is doing a swell job, while only 23 percent have a negative opinion. But hey, let’s not forget about the 20 percent of respondents who couldn’t be bothered to form an opinion. They probably have better things to do.
Unfortunately for another recently elected Pennsylvania Democrat, Senator John Fetterman, the news isn’t so rosy. Just like Biden, Fetterman’s approval rating is underwater, with only 39 percent of respondents having a favorable opinion. Ouch! Fifty percent of those polled view him unfavorably, proving once again that Pennsylvania has no patience for ineffective leadership.
On the bright side, Senator Bob Casey, also a Democrat, managed to scrape by with a net favorability rating of +12 percent. Congratulations, Casey! But beware, as you’ll be up for re-election in 2024, and the people of Pennsylvania might not be so forgiving if you continue to toe the liberal line.

The Quinippiac poll results have made one thing abundantly clear: Pennsylvania is shifting back to its conservative roots, and Trump is leading the way. It’s time for Biden and his Democrat pals to reevaluate their strategies because Trump is on a comeback tour, and he’s not taking any prisoners. Brace yourselves, America! The MAGA train is rolling through, and it’s picking up steam in the Keystone State.
