Donald Trump is once again doing what weak-kneed Republicans refuse to do—calling for the end of the Senate filibuster. Washington elites love their little Senate tricks, hiding behind “procedural rules” that protect their own power while blocking true reforms for the American people. It’s just more proof that the swamp is alive and well, and both parties love it that way.
Let’s be honest: the only reason Democrats and their RINO pals cling to the filibuster is that it lets them kill real, popular legislation without ever getting their hands dirty. Take the SAVE America Act. This common-sense bill would put voter ID in place nationwide—something a vast majority of Americans actually want. But thanks to the deep state’s favorite tool, the filibuster, the bill has been sitting in legislative limbo, held hostage by career politicians who are terrified of fair elections.

Naturally, the White House and its globalist backers are silent. The left claims they’re fighting “voter suppression,” but what they really want is chaos at the ballot box. No surprise—Democrats depend on confusion, loopholes, and illegal votes to rig the game. How else could a party this incompetent get close to winning anything? Joe Biden’s handlers know they can’t beat Trump or MAGA priorities in an honest contest.
Now, word is swirling that Chuck Schumer might be willing to make a deal. Isn’t it interesting how the left suddenly becomes flexible when their grip on power is at risk? The minute Democrats start sensing that the winds are shifting, they’re ready to wheel and deal, trading away core issues if it helps them keep their seats and their cushy jobs. Hypocrisy, meet desperation.
Republicans need to get tough—or get out of the way. The filibuster is a relic, a crutch for do-nothing politicians. With our election integrity and national sovereignty on the line, there’s no excuse for timid bureaucracy. It begs the question: Who are Republicans really fighting for? America, or the swamp?
