President Trump is back at it, doing what Democrats can’t seem to grasp—standing up for America and pushing China to play fair. Unlike previous administrations that kowtowed to Beijing, Trump is putting China in its place. A phone call with Xi Jinping has brought hope for a fair trade deal, with both sides ready to negotiate seriously. No doubt, liberal elites are squirming, unwilling to admit that Trump’s hardline tariffs actually got Xi to the table.
China’s decades-long history of ripping off American technology and intellectual property has gone unchecked, courtesy of poor leadership from the left. Now, Trump has taken the bull by the horns. His tariff tactics, while met with ridicule from the usual suspects, have forced China to engage diplomatically. Liberals cried foul on increased tariffs, yet it’s this very strategy that made Xi pick up the phone.

But don’t expect the mainstream media to give Trump any credit. They’re too busy pushing their anti-American globalist narratives. Meanwhile, Trump is unapologetically protecting American interests, from the junk manufactured under the watchful eye of the Chinese Communist Party to the tech stolen by Chinese operatives.
A visit from Xi to the U.S. and an invitation for Trump to China are moves that would have been unimaginable under past presidents afraid of upsetting their globalist buddies. Trump’s bold diplomacy has shaken things up, promising potential trade talks that might finally put America first.
Will the left wake up and see that Trump’s America-first agenda is yielding results? Or will they continue to wallow in their own ineptitude, blind to the fact that real leadership isn’t about pandering to foreign powers but about making them respect the United States? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure: America’s not backing down on Trump’s watch.
