Former President Donald Trump expressed displeasure upon learning that, according to reports, President Biden will not be held criminally liable in the investigation into classified documents. It is expected that the report special counsel Robert Hur is currently compiling in regards to his year-long investigation will amount to nothing more than a scathing indictment of Mr. Biden and his staff for the improper handling of classified documents.

Mr. Trump proclaimed with exasperation on Truth Social the following: "Wow! Faulty reports CNN has just reported, via a whistleblower for the Department of Justice, that no charges will be filed in the Crooked Joe Biden documents case, which is significantly larger than mine!!! "We reside in an extremely corrupt nation!"
It is noteworthy that although Mr. Biden has escaped repercussions from this investigation, Mr. Trump is confronted with charges in Florida regarding his purported mismanagement of classified documents at his opulent Mar-a-Lago estate. This inconsistency, in the opinion of the former president, constitutes "selective prosecution and prosecutorial misconduct."
The inquiry into Mr. Biden commenced in January, when Mr. Hur was assigned the responsibility of reviewing documents that were uncovered during the vice president's tenure. Both his office in Washington, D.C., and his residence in Wilmington, Delaware, contained discovered documents. Although Mr. Hur's group had initially anticipated completing the report by year's end, the exact date remains uncertain.
Early in October, Mr. Biden was interviewed by Mr. Hur, who asserts unequivocally that he committed no wrongdoing. His expression of astonishment at the documents' unexpected appearance in his office served to underscore his innocence. It appears that the president is fortunate to evade the long arm of the law during this specific investigation.
