President-elect Donald Trump made a big splash this Christmas, delighting conservatives with a scorching social media rant that lit up social media brighter than the Griswold family lights. The normal festive season cheer was replaced with a little dose of Trump-style fire and brimstone aimed at everyone from the debts of the Chinese Communist Party to the incompetence of Joe Biden, and yes, even Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took a shot or two.
Trump’s Christmas message was not a Hallmark card but more like a warning shot — especially for those violent offenders received clemency from the current president. The new commander-in-chief didn’t just offer some Holiday cheer to these criminals but delivered a straightforward message: they should find a better place to spend their days, and that place just so happens to be in a figurative hell. It’s clear that when it comes to crime, Trump’s attitude is very much “Bah Humbug!”
In the first of his two Truth Social posts, Trump offered a clever jab at China, suggesting that these folks are essentially running the Panama Canal while still managing to extract exorbitant repair funds from Uncle Sam. He got the numbers right, claiming the U.S. lost 38,000 workers throughout the canal’s construction, a number some so-called fact checkers immediately jumped on as embellished. As history shows, exact figures are often a loss in translation, especially when it comes from the era of bureaucrats who may or may not have begun their careers in counting sheep. But hey, who’s counting? Instead, what really matters is that Trump is putting a spotlight on how U.S. dollars are being squandered while the Chinese take a chunk of American history and build their global empire — which is pretty much the last thing any supporter of American sovereignty wants to see.
And then there’s Trudeau. Trump suggested that taking Canada under American wings as a 51st state could significantly lower the taxes of everyday Canadians. After all, who wouldn’t want to swap maple syrup taxes for a tax cut that makes every little thing sweeter? According to Trump, if they play their cards right, Canadians could see their businesses boom without the stranglehold of high taxes. It’s a perspective that’s as refreshing as a cold Canadian winter, proving yet again that politics, like a rickety roller coaster, needs its thrill rides and wild turns.

The second post turned towards the radical Left. Trump warned those obsessed with obstruction against the court system and elections that their days of cozying up to Biden are numbered. His jab at the Left was sharp, poking fun at their demand for preemptive pardons from a president who is notoriously lost in the weeds. With Biden seemingly prioritizing ice cream scoops over governance, Trump highlighted the stark reality of criminals being let off the hook while those who oppose the current administration face relentless scrutiny. Who needs coal in their stockings when they can be stuffed with facts and ridicule instead?
This Christmas message from Trump was a fusion of political theater and a sarcastic holiday greeting, reflecting conservative frustrations while closing the year with a punch. As the celebration of hope and cheer culminates, one thing is certain — under Trump’s watch, the grievances of the patriots are acknowledged, if not celebrated. The world might be spinning out of control, but at least for this season, Trump’s message screams a call back to American greatness. Now, who’s ready to deck the halls with a little extra ‘MAGA’ spirit?
