In response to the growing concerns about the classified documents investigation, Donald Trump's legal team has asked to meet with Attorney General Garland to discuss the latest developments. Despite the fact that the FBI did not find evidence of illegal activity during the search of his Mar-a-Lago resort, Trump's lawyers believe that special counsel Robert Mueller is unfairly targeting him.

Although details of the request are unclear, it is believed that Trump's lawyers will argue that he should not be charged with mishandling classified information. According to ABC News, his legal team claims that the investigation is politically motivated and has been conducted in an illegal manner.
If the Manhattan district attorney were to decide to bring charges against Trump, everything that was done by the FBI during the investigation of his campaign, including the illegal surveillance of his associates, would be on the table.
Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney, who indicted Trump for violating the law by paying hush money to Stormy Daniels, relied on COVID to argue that the emergency declaration by Andrew Cuomo prevented the statute of limitations from being enforced. This is yet another example of how Democrats use underhanded tactics to target conservative groups.
The Supreme Court ruled in the 1980s that a president can declassify any material that he or she collects. If Trump is indicted and former Vice President Joe Biden is accused of mishandling classified materials, then both parties should be held accountable. At the time, it was unclear how many documents Biden had taken with him or where he placed them, as the Secret Service was aware that Mar-a-Lago was the location where the missing items were found, but it was not clear how many documents Biden had placed there.
The investigation being conducted by the special counsel against Trump is like a slow-motion version of arthritis, with reports of alleged incompetence. Joe Biden's investigation is being handled in a more deliberate manner. This is yet another example of how the left uses unfair tactics against conservatives.
