Last week, Americans saw another move in the game of political chess between big corporations and those who truly care about the country’s well-being. Amazon, a behemoth of global capitalism and leftist leanings, considered showing consumers how much tariffs added to product costs. Funny how they suddenly care about price transparency. Where was Amazon when inflation under the last administration hit historic highs? Silent. They’ve got no problem partnering with Chinese propaganda, but want to put the blame on tariffs? Sounds pretty hypocritical.
Thankfully, America has leadership that doesn’t just sheepishly watch these games. When faced with this nonsense, Trump did what any effective leader would do: he reached out directly to Jeff Bezos. In a country where connections often separate leaders from the reality of everyday Americans, we have someone willing to bridge that gap. They engaged in a conversation like adults who care about the nation, and just like that, the idea was scrapped. The liberal media might not want to say it, but this is what strong, results-driven leadership looks like.
Of course, the left wants to make tariffs a villain. They’re missing the big picture. Tariffs aren’t a tax on Americans—they’re leverage. They motivate companies to invest right here, on American soil. Trump sees tariffs as a tool for greatness. While those snuggled up to globalist ideals argue otherwise, real Americans see the results: booming investment numbers and a tidal wave of manufacturing jobs coming back west.

Tariffs don’t hurt Americans, as doom-and-gloom Democrats love to claim. The companies eat the cost, despite their cries to the contrary. They complain only when it’s convenient, trying to justify outsourcing. But Trump has a plan to snatch those industries back, and it’s working. In just months, investments skyrocketed to nearly $9 trillion. That’s a number only bold policies can produce.
So, let the liberals whine about tariffs. Let them cozy up to socialist regimes masquerading as trade partners. America is on the path to greatness because we’ve chosen assertive leadership over globalist pandering. The real question remains: When will these left-leaning corporations and their allies finally put America first?
