Howard Stern, the shock jock of radio, recently received a major reality check courtesy of former President Donald Trump. The outspoken radio personality went on a tirade, bragging about how he is a “woke” opponent of Trump, embracing vaccines, and advocating for transgender accommodations. Well, Trump wasn’t having it.
In a scathing post on Truth Social, the Republican leader unleashed his fury on Stern, labeling him as a “broken weirdo” desperately seeking relevance on his SiriusXM radio show. Trump didn’t hold back, pointing out how Stern had lost friends and a significant portion of his audience ever since he jumped on the woke bandwagon.
And Trump isn’t wrong. Stern’s influence has waned, and it’s no surprise. Once a popular figure who had Trump as a frequent guest on his show, Stern has now gone down the path of woke nonsense, alienating a large portion of his listeners. It’s hard to stay relevant when your opinions are so out of touch with reality.
During a recent segment, Stern proudly proclaimed his liberal leanings, expressing his support for the transgender movement and vaccination efforts. He even boasted about being labeled as woke, taking it as some sort of compliment. Sorry, Howard, being woke doesn’t make you cool or relevant. It just means you’ve succumbed to the mindless conformism of the left.
This public falling out between Trump and Stern comes after decades of a seemingly friendly relationship. Stern’s radio show was known for pushing boundaries and featuring explicit content, with Trump making frequent appearances. However, it seems that the success of Trump has been too much for Stern to handle. He tried to launch his own presidential bid in a feeble attempt to stop Trump’s return to power. But like all of Stern’s recent endeavors, it fell flat.
Stern’s relevance in recent times has been scarce, only briefly gaining attention during the pandemic when he advocated for denying treatment to the unvaccinated. It’s clear that Stern has lost touch with reality and is desperately clinging to his fading relevance.
In the end, Trump was spot on with his assessment of Howard Stern. A broken weirdo who’s lost his way, Stern is a prime example of how once-popular figures can become irrelevant when they embrace the woke ideology. It’s time for Stern to step aside and make way for voices that are truly in touch with the American people.
