The guest list was nothing short of a who’s who of big shots – from business moguls to sports team owners to former Trump Administration honchos, everyone who was anyone made sure to RSVP for this shindig. With billionaire hedge fund manager John Paulson leading the charge, along with heavyweights like Robert Mercer, Rebekah Mercer, Harold Hamm, Robert Bigelow, and Steve Wynn in tow, it was a sight to behold.
And let’s not forget the belle of the ball, former First Lady Melania Trump, who added a touch of class to the proceedings. With all these heavy hitters in one room, it’s no wonder the cash started flowing like a burst dam – $50 million in the bank for the Trump re-election war chest. Take that, Biden!
Trump’s campaign spokesperson, Danielle Alvarez, wasted no time rubbing it in, declaring that it took not one, not two, but three Democrat presidents to raise what Trump did in one night. Ouch, talk about a mic drop moment! As they say, go big or go home, and Trump is definitely not going home anytime soon.
With the Democrats sitting pretty with their stacks of cash, Trump and the GOP know they’ve got their work cut out for them. But hey, with 61 percent of their funds coming from regular folks like you and me, they’re proving they’re a people-powered movement. Who needs billionaire buddies when you’ve got the support of hardworking Americans, am I right?
