Hillary Clinton, who ran for president twice before and was unsuccessful both times, is once again in the headlines because, evidently, we haven't heard enough from the same lady who, for the past six years, has asserted without proof that former President Donald Trump "stole" the presidential election in 2016 from her.
Hillary Clinton, who ran for president twice before and was unsuccessful both times, is once again in the headlines because, evidently, we haven't heard enough from the same lady who, for the past six years, has asserted without proof that former President Donald Trump "stole" the presidential election in 2016 from her.
During a recent glowing interview that Hillary Clinton gave to the host of the CBS Evening News, Norah O'Donnell, the primary topic of talk was Hillary and Chelsea Clinton's new docuseries for Apple TV+ called "Gutsy." In point of fact, that same problem was brought up during that interview.
During one part, Clinton boasted to O'Donnell about how she purportedly used her time as the secretary of state under the Obama-Biden administration "encouraging" people to have a true democracy. This was in answer to O'Donnell's leading question about the "J6 Committee" and "Donald Trump's actions." Clinton said she believed Trump led a "seditious plot" against "the government of the United States," and she said this was in response to O'Donnell's
Clinton said that the peaceful transition of power is a sign of a true democracy.
Clinton's 2016 election denialism emerged at this point when she asserted she beat Trump in the popular vote but lost the election in the Electoral College. Clinton stated that she did not give any nanosecond thought to claiming victory or trying to convince the Democrats to reject to certify the election when she learned she had lost.
Watch:
"Was I happy when I beat Donald Trump by nearly 3 million votes but lost the Electoral College? No," @HillaryClinton tells @NorahODonnell. "Did I ever for a nanosecond think, 'I'm gonna claim victory and try to get the Democrats to refuse to certify the election'? No." pic.twitter.com/PtRziziTH8

The problem is that habitual liar Hillary Clinton left out a few details, as Molly Hemingway of The Federalist pointed out:
In fact, within hours she instructed her team to lean into the Russia collusion hoax she bought and paid for. She tried to force electors to hear her disinfo operation prior to their vote. And Dem intel officers' leak and sabotage campaign was in high operation in Dec. and Jan. https://t.co/40TBkQJYm1

In addition, despite the fact that Clinton did, in fact, formally concede the race, this in no way indicates that she accepts the outcome of the election, as Hemingway pointed out earlier and Clinton's subsequent words demonstrated:

Hillary Clinton, Stacey Abrams, and pretty much any Democrat who believes both the 2000 and 2016 presidential elections were stolen and the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial race was "rigged" are undoubtedly the modern-day originators of the so-called "Big Lie." This is an inconvenient truth that the mainstream media continues to overlook because Orange Man Bad and all that. However, the fact of the matter is that Hillary Clinton, Stacey Abrams, and pretty much any Democrat who believes these things
As I've pointed out before, the true narrative of election intervention in 2016 was the other way around. Trump won the election despite coordinated efforts by the Clinton campaign and the Obama-Biden administration to sabotage not just his candidacy but also his government once he took office.
After the 2016 election, Clinton and others complained nonstop about a "stolen" election for the next four years, and Democrats in Congress repeatedly tried to remove and oust President Trump on phony grounds in an effort to "legitimately" reverse the results of that election. The media eagerly joined these campaigns by repeating the accusations and seeking to bolster them with false news stories.
To put it another way, the receipts do not lie. If Hillary Clinton and her fellow Democrats would like to worry about seditious conspiracies and undermining democracy, they might want to keep some mirrors ready, because the pot is clearly calling the kettle black here. If they're so gung-ho about not getting election results disputed at such a high level, then maybe they shouldn't have done everything they can to cast some doubt on legitimate ones themselves for the past six years in a row.
