Zelensky Begs Taxpayers for $24B, Hobnobs with Global Billionaires!

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, the self-proclaimed “king of the beggars,” is once again asking Americans for aid to fund a proxy war that nobody has voted for. This time, Zelensky made his plea during a speech at the United Nations General Assembly, where he predictably begged the world to give him “mo’ money.” And what does he do after his begging session? He rubs shoulders with the world’s richest elites at a fancy soiree organized by J.P. Morgan. Talk about living the high life!

At this swanky event, Zelensky was seen schmoozing with billionaires like Mike Bloomberg, worth a jaw-dropping $96 billion. Other mega-rich attendees included Ken Griffin, Eric Schmidt, Robert Kraft, Jonathan Gray, Barry Sternlicht, Bill Ackman, and even Henry Kissinger himself. It’s quite the star-studded affair. But isn’t it a bit odd that a president who claims to be fighting for his country’s independence is eagerly rubbing elbows with the very elites who profit from war and capitalism?

Zelensky knows that these financiers see war as a business opportunity, and he’s doing everything he can to woo them into investing in Ukraine. But let’s not forget that this money is coming from hardworking American taxpayers. And what are they getting in return? Certainly not peace, which Zelensky has ruled out from the start. The war between Russia and Ukraine has been at a standstill for almost a year now, and there’s a real risk of it escalating into a catastrophic World War III. Is this really a fight that the United States should be involved in?

It’s also worth noting that Congress never voted on participating in this war, and Ukraine is not even a historic ally of the U.S. So why are we blindly throwing billions of dollars at a country without a clear plan or objective? Senator Rand Paul has rightfully questioned the legitimacy of this so-called “aid,” pointing out that Ukraine is far from being a democracy. They’ve even canceled elections, banned political parties, and arrested priests. How can we support a corrupt regime like this?

Furthermore, we simply cannot afford to keep pouring money into foreign conflicts. It’s a recipe for economic disaster, leading to inflation and a higher likelihood of recession. As Senator Paul aptly summarizes, we don’t have the money, and borrowing more only puts our own country at risk. It’s time to prioritize the needs of the American people and stop throwing away taxpayer dollars on wars that are not in our best interest.

In the end, it’s clear that Zelensky’s charm offensive with the mega-rich elites won’t solve the problems facing Ukraine. Real solutions require leadership and a focus on the well-being of the Ukrainian people, not just cozying up to the global elite. Maybe Zelensky should take a lesson from Senator Paul on what it truly means to represent the interests of his country and its citizens.
