Joe Biden is at it again, trying to make a big statement about abortion and failing miserably. After celebrating his birthday with a cake that almost set the White House on fire (cue the “old man” jokes), Biden took to his personal Twitter account to take a cheap shot at Donald Trump over the overturning of Roe v. Wade. First of all, can we just appreciate the fact that Biden had to resort to Twitter for this? It’s clear that he’s already gearing up for his 2024 campaign, and he wants to make sure every Democrat knows that abortion is going to be their rallying cry.
But here’s the thing, Biden, abortion is not a fundamental right. Sorry to burst your bubble, but the US Bill of Rights doesn’t mention anything about the right to have an abortion. And let’s not forget, abortion was illegal in almost every state before the Roe v. Wade decision in 1972. So, no, there was never a “fundamental right to abortion” before that. But Biden, being the “devout Catholic” that he claims to be, knows all of this. He’s just using Roe v. Wade as a dog whistle to his far-left base of baby killers (yes, I said it).
Donald Trump is running for president bragging about how he “killed Roe v. Wade.”
Let’s be clear: The only reason a fundamental right has been stripped away from the American people for the first time in American history is because of Trump.

Now, Trump, on the other hand, has made overturning Roe v. Wade a central issue in his campaign. Unlike Biden, he actually has something to celebrate. Trump took to his social media platform (because he knows how to use it effectively) and proudly proclaimed that he “killed Roe v. Wade.” And you know what? He’s right. After 50 years of failure, Trump was the one who finally got it done. And now the Pro Life movement is in a strong position, thanks to him. Trump’s actions have led to numerous states enacting abortion limits, giving the pro-life movement a much-needed boost.
So, Biden can keep trying to score points with his base by talking about Roe v. Wade, but we see through it. His desperate attempts to cling to his far-left supporters are clear. Meanwhile, Trump continues to be the champion for the pro-life movement. Sorry, Biden, but you can’t compete with that kind of success.
