During an interview on Tuesday with CNN's Jake Tapper, President Joe Biden reiterated his support for stricter gun control measures, such as a ban on so-called "assault weapons."
The Blaze published a snippet of the conversation in which Biden stated that we now have action on firearms because to the current state of affairs in the country.
He followed that up by saying, and by the way, I'm going to obtain a assault weapons ban. It's not a joke; I'm going to grab that item once more before all of this is over.

Over the previous few weeks and months, Biden has been very consistent in reiterating his position on the issue of "assault weapons."
For instance, Breitbart News reported on President Joe Biden's tweet from October 5, 2022, which stated, I signed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act into law. It is the first substantial gun safety legislation in in 30 years. I'm not going to give up until I once more succeed in getting a ban on assault weapons passed.
On September 19, 2022, President Joe Biden voiced his disapproval of so-called "assault weapons," going on to say that he finds it "bizarre" that semiautomatic rifles are even for sale.
