In an alarming turn of events, the Senate has released a border security bill that can only be described as a complete fraud. It is clear that this bill is not focused on improving security or upholding the rule of law, but rather on increasing the flow of illegal aliens into our country. And who is at the helm of this disastrous legislation? None other than Joe Biden himself.
The flaws in this bill are numerous and outrageous. It allows for the admission of 5,000 illegal immigrants per day, or a whopping 1.8 million per year, before any emergency can be declared. Work permits will even be issued to these illegals, further incentivizing their unlawful entry into our country. And to add insult to injury, the federal courts in Texas are prohibited from hearing cases related to this bill, giving all the power to the federal courts in DC. It’s as if they don’t even want Texans to have a say in their own border security!

But that’s not all. This bill also mandates the release of all families from custody, only allowing single individuals to be sent back. Unaccompanied minors are conveniently left out of the daily total, making it even easier for them to enter the country illegally. And to top it all off, existing consent decrees are kept in place, hindering the enforcement of immigration laws. It’s clear that this bill is designed to make it as easy as possible for illegal immigrants to enter and stay in our country.
Senator James Lankford, who spearheaded this atrocious bill, has been peddling misinformation to the American people. He claims that the 5,000 threshold for admitting illegal immigrants will somehow secure our border, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. This bill does not require the border to be closed, and it even allows for the entry of unaccompanied minors and families. Lankford’s logic is seriously flawed, and it’s clear that he is not prioritizing the safety and security of American citizens.
It’s truly baffling that anyone would support this bill. It does nothing to improve our border security, but instead makes our laws more lenient, funds the chaos at the border, and strips border states of their ability to effectively challenge this law in court. We need lawmakers who will stand up for the American people and prioritize their safety. Sadly, it seems like we’re stuck with politicians like Lankford who are more interested in pleasing Biden than protecting our sovereignty.
It’s time to take a stand against this disastrous border bill and demand true border security. We cannot allow our country to be overrun by illegal immigrants while our leaders turn a blind eye. Let’s hold Lankford and his cohorts accountable for their reckless actions and work towards real solutions that prioritize the safety of American citizens. Our future depends on it.
