Britney Spears is facing criticism from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) after purchasing a new puppy instead of adopting. PETA, always the life of the party, took to social media to condemn Spears for not being a “force for good” and suggested that “animals will pay with their lives” because of her choice. Wow, if PETA was handing out awards for drama queens, they’d definitely take the crown.
In response to PETA’s criticism, Britney Spears decided to turn off the comment section on her Instagram posts. Talk about taking control of the situation! But hey, who needs comments when you’ve got a cute new puppy to show off?

Now, in PETA’s defense, they argue that Spears could have made a difference by adopting a dog from a shelter instead of buying one. But come on, PETA, let’s not act like Britney is some sort of dog-hating monster. She’s just a girl who wanted a new furry friend. We all make choices, and she made hers.
It’s clear that PETA just loves the spotlight, always trying to stir up controversy and grab headlines. But hey, Britney, don’t let them rain on your parade. Enjoy your new puppy and keep on dancing to your heart’s content. After all, you deserve some happiness, toxic or not.
