Chicago Mayor Unfairly Targets KIA, Hyundai in Ridiculous Carjacking Lawsuit!

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is under fire for pointing the finger at automakers for the surge in carjackings happening across the city. This far-left activist mayor, who positioned himself even further to the left than his predecessor Lori Lightfoot, announced a lawsuit against KIA and Hyundai, blaming them for the thefts. It’s just typical of the left to never take personal responsibility and instead blame others for their failures.

Johnson’s lawsuit alleges that the automakers failed to include “industry-standard engine immobilizers” in their vehicles, resulting in a rise in crime. But let’s be honest, it’s not the fault of the automakers that criminals are stealing cars. Criminals are the ones responsible for their own actions. It’s absurd to hold automakers accountable for the actions of criminals.

This lawsuit is just another example of the left’s constant push to shift blame and avoid personal responsibility. Instead of addressing the real issue of crime and holding criminals accountable, they would rather waste taxpayer dollars on frivolous lawsuits that won’t solve anything.

And it’s not just conservatives who see through this blame game. Even Democratic Alderman Raymond Lopez criticized Johnson’s move, calling it a “play from a socialist playbook.” He rightly points out that the real problem is the criminals running rampant in the city, not the cars themselves.

It’s time for Mayor Johnson to stop playing politics and start focusing on keeping the residents of Chicago safe. Blaming automakers for carjackings is just a distraction from the real issue at hand. Only when we hold criminals accountable for their actions will we see a decrease in crime rates.
