Congress just made it crystal clear where their loyalties lie—and it’s not with American families who want secure borders and safe communities. After dragging out the longest shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security in history, they finally passed a bill. But get this: they refused to fund the very agencies that protect our border—Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Border Patrol. That’s not just negligence. That’s a direct slap in the face to every law-abiding citizen.
Instead of doing their job, Congress caved to left-wing radicals obsessed with open borders. They claim to care about “security,” but then gut funding for the only people standing between our nation and chaos. Restoring some money to DHS means nothing without ICE and Border Patrol getting the tools they need. Democrats and their globalist buddies want to make it easier for criminals and cartels to pour in, but American taxpayers are supposed to foot the bill for the disaster.

Let’s call out this hypocrisy. The same politicians who hide behind gated communities are now cheering a bill that leaves our borders wide open. It’s all part of a bigger agenda—to erase America’s borders and flood the country with people who don’t play by our rules. How long until we see the consequences? How many more deadly drugs, violent criminals, and human traffickers have to slip through before someone in Washington wakes up?
This is more than incompetence. This is anti-American madness. Washington elites parade their “compromise,” but in reality, they just surrendered to the loudest leftist activists in their party. Homeland security means nothing if you cut the heart out of the department. ICE and Border Patrol risk their lives every day, and Congress just told them they don’t matter.
When will these lawmakers finally put America first? Maybe they need a reminder that their number one job is to protect their own citizens—not to please woke activists or globalist donors. Or is that just too much to ask from the swamp?
