Republican senators are finally stepping up to the plate and doing what needs to be done: talking about a real vote to authorize more military force in Iran. For too long, Democrats and their globalist pals have tried to tie the President’s hands when it comes to protecting America. They whine about “congressional approval” and “legal timelines,” but when the safety of America is at stake, action—not endless debate—is what we need.
President Trump has shown strength against Iran—a country that chants “Death to America” and funds terrorists around the world. But his legal window to act unilaterally is closing. Now, some GOP lawmakers are prepared to take bold steps themselves. They refuse to let the anti-American left decide how, where, or when we defend our nation. Isn’t it refreshing to see Republicans actually willing to fight instead of rolling over for political correctness?

Let’s get real. The Democrat way is to sit on their hands, virtue-signal about “peace,” and hope our enemies play nice. They attack Trump every time he stands up to Iran, but then blame him when things go wrong. It’s endless hypocrisy. While liberals wring their hands and worry about “international opinion,” Americans are left at risk. This weakness on the world stage has only encouraged Iran to become more dangerous.
Republicans recognize that Iran poses a real threat. With the clock ticking, they’re ready to give Trump the backing he deserves to keep this nation safe. They’re sick of watching our security get caught up in political gamesmanship. It’s about time someone puts America first instead of bending over backwards to appease failed foreign policy experts and the United Nations crowd.
