The House of Representatives took a stand against the Chinese invasion of TikTok in the U.S., passing a bill that would force ByteDance to sell the social media app to an American buyer. Finally, some common sense in Congress!
This legislation, known as the Protecting Americans From Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act, received overwhelming bipartisan support with a 352 to 65 vote. It’s about time our elected officials put national security concerns above petty political squabbles.

President Joe Biden better not backtrack on this one – he signaled approval to sign the bill if the Senate gives it the green light. Let’s hope he sticks to his word and doesn’t cave to the Chinese Communist Party’s demands.
