Democrats Pay Gen Z to Register Voters With Swipe Blue App Amid Support Crisis

The Democrats are in desperate need of support, so much so that they are resorting to paying people to vote for their candidates. A website called democrats.com is offering $35 to Gen Zers who register their friends and family as Democrats. They have introduced an app called Swipe Blue, specifically aimed at progressive activists to encourage people in their contact lists to vote for Democrats.

This app targets individuals who are passionate about issues such as reproductive rights, the climate crisis, and student debt. It particularly focuses on persuading those under 30 years old to register as Democrats before the upcoming presidential election in November.

The website emphasizes the progressive nature of the GenZ generation, particularly highlighting young women affected by Republican abortion bans. The app uses messages that portray the country as under attack from extremists who refuse to accept election results, and it discourages in-person voting, instead urging the use of absentee and early mail-in voting.

President Joe Biden is facing a challenge with GenZ voters, especially due to his stance on the Israel-Hamas conflict. Young progressive activists are creating difficulties for Biden’s re-election prospects, demanding stronger action for a permanent cease-fire in Gaza.

Recent polls show that 58 percent of voters aged 18-34 are uncertain about voting in November. President Biden’s support among young voters is slipping, with some polls indicating that he is even behind former President Donald Trump in this demographic. Furthermore, only 37 percent of GenZ voters expressed satisfaction with the Democratic candidate. A significant 68 percent of young Americans consider Biden’s presidency a failure, which is higher than any other age group.
