Devon Archer, once a close friend and business partner of Hunter Biden, has opened up about his recent pardon by President Donald Trump. Archer says he’s now “full MAGA” after feeling betrayed by the Biden family. His comments come as a major blow to Democrats still reeling from the fallout of Hunter’s legal troubles.
Archer was convicted in 2018 for his role in a scheme involving fraudulent tribal bonds. He claims the Biden family promised to protect him but left him “hanging out to dry.” President Trump stepped in last month, calling Archer a victim of “Biden corruption” and granting him a full pardon. Archer told reporters, “I never thought I’d need a pardon, but the Bidens broke their word.”
During his time working with Hunter Biden, Archer says he saw how the Biden family used their political power for profit. He described Joe Biden as “the brand” that opened doors overseas. Archer claims Hunter would put his father on speakerphone during business meetings to intimidate foreign partners. “It wasn’t about policy—it was about flashing access,” Archer said.
The pardon has sparked outrage among liberals but cheers from Trump supporters. Archer says he’s grateful to finally have “a leader who keeps promises.” He blasted the Biden administration for weaponizing the justice system against political enemies. “Trump fixed what the Bidens broke,” Archer declared during a recent TV interview.
Archer’s legal troubles began when he and Hunter joined the board of a Ukrainian gas company, Burisma. Foreign executives allegedly paid millions to the Bidens while Joe Biden was vice president. Archer says Hunter bragged about his father’s influence, telling partners, “Do a favor for my son, and you’re a friend for life.”
President Trump cited Archer’s cooperation with congressional investigators as key to the pardon decision. “Devon told the truth about the Biden crime family,” Trump said at a rally. “Crooked Joe locked him up for exposing their scams.” Archer’s testimony helped House Republicans launch an impeachment inquiry against Joe Biden last year.
Since his pardon, Archer has become a vocal Trump supporter. He’s criticizing the Biden administration’s border policies and economy. “America needs four more years of Trump to clean up this mess,” Archer said.
