In a bombshell revelation, the watchdog group America First Legal has uncovered a trove of emails exchanged between then-Vice President Joe Biden’s Office and various businesses linked to his family members. The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) confirmed the existence of these emails, which include 19,335 exchanges with Rosemont Seneca, 4,243 exchanges with Hunter Biden, 1,751 exchanges with Jim Biden, and 3,738 exchanges with Jim’s Lion Hall Group. This new information was made public as a result of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed by AF Legal.
The GOP’s Oversight Committee wasted no time in calling out Biden’s hypocrisy. They took to Twitter to point out that Biden had previously promised an “absolute wall” between his work as a public servant and his family’s business dealings. However, the newly released emails reveal a staggering 29,000 exchanges between Biden’s VP Office and his son, brother, and their “businesses.” It’s clear that Biden’s claims of separation do not align with the evidence.
These newly surfaced emails add fuel to the fire of the ongoing allegations surrounding the Biden family’s international business dealings. Just last month, House GOP released documents and emails that seemed to indicate instances of influence peddling by the Biden administration, including interference in federal investigations. Chairman James Comer highlighted bank wires sent to Hunter Biden from Chinese nationals, indicating potentially troubling financial ties. Additionally, lobbying firm Blue Star Strategies revealed that the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma had access to Vice President Biden’s talking points for his trip to Ukraine in 2015, raising further concerns about the family’s connections.
Former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko even alleged that Joe Biden used his influence to protect his son’s Ukrainian employer in exchange for payments. Cummins, a Republican representative, wrote, “There is a claim they have proof of a wire of significant funds from Zlochevsky to Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC which they claim directly went to the benefit of Joe Biden.” These allegations are serious and demand a thorough investigation.
It is worth noting that President Biden has voluntarily participated in interviews with Special Counsel Robert Hur, as part of the federal investigation into his handling of classified documents. While the White House claims this as a sign of cooperation, it is important to remember that this investigation has been slow-developing compared to the swift probes into former Vice President Mike Pence and former President Donald Trump. This raises questions about the impartiality of the ongoing investigation and whether it is being given the same level of scrutiny.
The American people deserve transparency and accountability from their leaders. If these allegations against the Biden family prove to be true, it would represent a severe breach of trust and would call into question the integrity of our government. The ongoing investigation must be thorough and impartial to ensure justice is served.
