In a bold move to honor the legacy of former President Donald J. Trump, a group of House Republicans has introduced legislation to rename Washington Dulles International Airport to the Donald J. Trump International Airport. Led by House Chief Deputy Whip Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA), this initiative has sparked excitement among patriotic Americans.
Representative Reschenthaler stated, “In my lifetime, our nation has never been greater than under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump. As millions of domestic and international travelers fly through the airport, there is no better symbol of freedom, prosperity, and strength than hearing ‘Welcome to Trump International Airport’ as they land on American soil.”

The proposed bill mandates the name change in all references within laws, regulations, maps, documents, and other records associated with the airport, ensuring that the enduring legacy of the 45th President is appropriately honored.
This effort aims to commemorate the remarkable achievements of the Trump administration, ensuring that future generations of Americans recognize and appreciate the historic accomplishments of this transformative leader. Renaming Washington Dulles International Airport would align it with seven other airports named after former presidents, including John F. Kennedy International Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
Despite the vision and dedication of Representative Reschenthaler and his co-sponsors, including Reps. Michael Waltz, Andy Ogles, Chuck Fleischmann, Paul Gosar, Barry Moore, and Troy Nehls, the bill may face opposition in the Democratic-led Senate. Nevertheless, this resolute effort to honor President Trump’s legacy stands as a testament to the unwavering loyalty of his supporters and the enduring impact of his administration.
