California Democratic Assemblyman Evan Low recently introduced legislation calling for a federal investigation into Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Low claimed that DeSantis had helped send illegal aliens to California from Texas last June for political gain. The Assemblyman described DeSantis as an “immoral, power-hungry politician” and thanked California officials and a Texas sheriff for investigating the matter.
But this whole situation is just comical. Low doesn’t have any evidence to support his claim that the illegal aliens were deceived before being transported to California. And let’s not forget that President Biden is the one who released these individuals into the country in the first place. So why is Low blaming DeSantis for simple transportation when the real issue lies with Biden’s handling of the border crisis?

Furthermore, isn’t California known as a sanctuary state? Why is it suddenly a problem to send illegal aliens there when the state openly welcomes them? It seems like Low is just upset because the promise made by California Democrats is actually being fulfilled. So who is really being deceptive here? It certainly isn’t DeSantis.
And let’s not overlook the hypocrisy of the situation. While Low criticizes DeSantis for sending 36 individuals to California, he conveniently ignores the fact that Biden has been shipping illegal aliens all over the country, often in the dead of night and without any warning. Where was Low’s outrage when Biden was doing it on a much larger scale? It’s clear that this is just another attempt to tarnish the reputation of a Republican, and it’s likely to backfire.
Overall, this investigation resolution against DeSantis is nothing more than a partisan attack. Low may think he’s hurting the Governor, but he’s only exposing his own bias and political agenda. It’s time for Democrats to stop wasting time and taxpayer money on these baseless investigations and focus on the real issues facing our country.
