In another blow to fairness and justice, a judge in New York City has issued a limited gag order in the civil fraud trial involving former President Donald Trump. The order applies to all parties in the case, prohibiting them from publicly discussing court personnel and staffers. It seems that the judge, Arthur Engoron, has taken offense to Trump’s rightful criticism regarding the bias of his chief law clerk, Allison Greenfield.
It all started when Trump, who has been present at the trial despite not being required to, called out the apparent bias displayed by Judge Engoron and the New York Attorney General Letitia James. Trump had every right to express his concerns about the fairness of the trial, but apparently, Judge Engoron couldn’t handle a little criticism.
The judge claimed that Trump had made a disparaging and false post about a member of his staff on social media, and he wasn’t going to stand for it. He issued the gag order, threatening serious sanctions against anyone who dared to speak publicly about court staff. It’s a blatant attempt to silence Trump and prevent him from exposing the bias within the trial.
Let’s be clear, personal attacks are never acceptable, but it’s important to remember that Trump was simply bringing attention to a real issue. Allison Greenfield, the judge’s chief law clerk, had shown her bias by posing for a photo with none other than Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a prominent Democrat. It’s no wonder Trump questioned her impartiality.
This is just the latest example of the left’s ongoing efforts to silence conservatives and prevent any dissenting opinions from being heard. The judge in this case has already ruled Trump guilty and liable for fraud before the trial even began, and now he’s trying to silence the former president for simply pointing out the obvious bias present in the courtroom.

It’s astonishing that Judge Engoron has the audacity to issue a gag order when it’s clear that his law clerk has been actively involved in the trial proceedings. Greenfield has been seated directly beside the judge, often asking questions on his behalf or being consulted by him before making decisions. It’s clear that there is a close relationship between the judge and his clerk, making it even more important to address the issue of bias.
This is not the first time that Trump has been hit with a gag order, and it likely won’t be the last. Prosecutors in both New York and Washington D.C. have sought to silence him, citing so-called harassment and intimidation. It’s a blatantly political move to prevent Trump from defending himself and speaking out against injustice.
It’s time for conservatives to stand up against these attempts to silence us. The left is trying to control the narrative, but we must continue to speak the truth and expose their bias and hypocrisy. This gag order is just another example of the unfair treatment that Trump has faced since day one. It’s time for true justice to prevail.
