Yesterday, a group of rowdy LGBTQ activists stormed the Texas State Capitol building, determined to wreak havoc and destruction in order to protest Senate Bill 14—a sensible law that would prevent doctors from performing dangerous and invasive gender-mutilation treatments on minors.

The insurrectionists claim to be “protecting” vulnerable children, but in reality, they are pushing dangerous and harmful procedures that could leave these children suffering for the rest of their lives. The proposed law would stop doctors from providing hormone therapy and similar treatments to children—a crucial measure to ensure that minors are not subjected to irreversible medical interventions without proper informed consent.

The bill also prohibits the use of public money or assistance to provide these risky treatments. This common-sense measure ensures that taxpayers are not forced to fund harmful and unproven interventions, which have been shown to have serious negative effects on individuals’ long-term health.
Despite this, the LGBTQ activists shamelessly stormed the Capitol in a deliberate attempt to intimidate Texas lawmakers and trample on the rights of conservatives and traditionalists. It is clear that these radical activists are more interested in their own extremist agenda than in the health and well-being of our most vulnerable citizens.
Thankfully, with conservative lawmakers on the side of righteousness and common sense, we can rest assured that this dangerous and reckless bill will not pass. Our children deserve better than to be subjected to the whims of political extremists who push dangerous and harmful interventions over the health and well-being of our most vulnerable citizens.
