President Donald Trump recently took a potshot at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) and her “bad looking” boyfriend after the Congresswoman had a meltdown over a CNN town hall appearance last week. AOC had taken to social media to attack CNN for hosting Trump, claiming that the network had “lost total control” of the event and was “platforming election disinformation, defenses of Jan 6th, and a public attack on a sexual abuse victim.”
It appears that AOC believes conservatives have the right to speak out publicly, which was evident when she celebrated Tucker Carlson being fired from Fox News. What likely triggered AOC was that Trump drew a positive reaction from the audience during the CNN town hall and when the audience laughed as he recounted the implausible story of E. Jean Carroll.
In response to AOC’s criticism, President Trump took to Truth Social to make a hilarious post, taking a jab at her boyfriend. He wrote, “Neurotic little AOC with the bad-looking boyfriend went crazy. ‘He owns CNN, he’s in their head,’ they screamed. CNN, take the GREAT RATINGS!”
CNN should be ashamed of themselves.
They have lost total control of this “town hall” to again be manipulated into platforming election disinformation, defenses of Jan 6th, and a public attack on a sexual abuse victim.
