McConnell Botches Another Easy Question, Unbelievable Footage!

Once again, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) found himself at a loss for words when faced with a simple question from reporters during a press conference in Kentucky. It seems like Mr. Freeze himself has made an appearance in McConnell’s brain! This is the second time that McConnell has experienced this glitch, and it is raising concerns about whether there should be a limit on the age of government officials.

Not surprisingly, some people are already calling for term limits in light of this incident. They are comparing McConnell to a sewer rat, which might be a bit unfair to the actual sewer rats out there. But hey, when you freeze up like that, people are going to take shots at you. Maybe McConnell needs to invest in a bat signal to help him find his words again.

During the press conference, a reporter asked McConnell about his thoughts on running for re-election. Seems like a simple question, right? Well, McConnell appeared confused and asked, “What’re my thoughts about what?” The GOP leader just couldn’t seem to wrap his head around the question. Maybe he needs some more time to thaw out.

After an awkward pause, McConnell’s aide had to step in and clarify the question for him. It’s not a good sign when you need someone to remind you what the question was. But hey, as long as the aide is there to hold his hand, McConnell will be just fine, right? The good news is that McConnell claims to be okay, although it might be a good idea for him to see a doctor before his next event. Better safe than sorry, right?

It’s moments like these that make you wonder if it’s time for McConnell to retire. Retirement chants have even erupted at some of his speeches, adding insult to injury. But hey, maybe McConnell just needs a little more time to warm up before he can find his words again.
