MSNBC, the leftist media outlet known for its biased coverage, has seen a significant decline in its viewership due to its distorted reporting on the Hamas attack on Israel. Over the course of four days, from October 7 to 10, MSNBC experienced a 24 percent drop in its overall audience. On the other hand, Fox News saw a remarkable 42 percent rise in viewership, while CNN experienced a 17 percent increase. These numbers clearly demonstrate MSNBC’s inability to compete with other networks during important global events.
It’s no surprise that MSNBC’s biased coverage is turning viewers away. The liberal media continues to run interference for Hamas and downplay the atrocities committed by the terrorist organization in Israel. A notable incident involved MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell asking an Israeli mother, whose two children were taken hostage by Hamas, about her feelings towards Israel’s counterstrikes. Mitchell’s line of questioning was clearly aimed at shaping the guest’s response to align with her own equivocation on the issue. However, the mother responded with justifiable anger, expressing her disdain for the terrorists who invaded her home and abducted her children. She emphasized that there is no moral equivalence between Israel and Hamas, as Israel has never engaged in such heinous acts.
The Daily Mail also criticized MSNBC’s coverage, highlighting a confrontation between Andrea Mitchell and another Israeli mother whose sons were kidnapped by Hamas. This mother’s raw emotions were on full display as she condemned the terrorists for breaking into her home, destroying everything and taking her children to the Gaza Strip. These firsthand accounts from Israeli mothers reflect the reality of the situation and reveal the true nature of Hamas.
In contrast to MSNBC’s biased reporting, Fox News reporter Trey Yingst has received praise for his fearless coverage of the ongoing conflict. Yingst and his Fox News crew were taken to Be’eri, a kibbutz near the Gaza border, where Hamas terrorists had launched a violent attack. The kibbutz, once a peaceful community, was overrun by terrorists armed with grenades, guns, and knives. Yingst’s reporting provided a firsthand view of the carnage and exposed the brutality of the Hamas fighters.
It is essential to have unbiased and accurate reporting during times of global historic events like the Hamas attack on Israel. MSNBC’s undeniable left-wing bias undermines the trustworthiness of its coverage, causing a decline in its viewership. The American public deserves fair and objective reporting, which can be found on networks like Fox News, where reporters like Trey Yingst provide an unfiltered account of the shocking scenes unfolding in the Middle East.
