Once again, the left’s dangerous obsession with President Donald Trump has gone from nasty words on Twitter to real action—and not the good kind. This time, a man showed up at a fancy DC hotel, packing an ammo bag, a gun holster, and a knife—clearly gearing up for something far darker than just another “peaceful protest.” He took selfies with his weapons just minutes before trying to storm the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, with every intention of killing Trump. And yet, liberals shrug this off, still babbling about “right-wing violence” as if that’s the only threat to democracy.
Let’s just put it out there: if the tables were turned, if someone even thought about threatening a Democrat president or former president, we’d never hear the end of it. CNN would be running wall-to-wall coverage. Hollywood would be crying on Instagram. Every blue-check liberal on social media would demand round-the-clock protection for their precious elite. But because it’s Trump—a conservative, patriotic president hated by coastal snobs—the media can barely be bothered to report the facts, let alone condemn the attempt.

This new attack is just the ugly fruit of years spent vilifying anyone who dares to hold a different opinion. Liberal politicians, big tech giants, and globalist puppet masters have spun up so much hatred against Trump and his supporters that some deranged individuals think they’re doing the world a favor by resorting to violence. The radical left has made it trendy to fantasize about “resistance” and “taking down” the right. And now, their words have consequences.
Where are the lectures about tolerance? Where is the outrage from all those self-proclaimed “defenders of democracy?” Nowhere to be found. The silence is deafening—and absolutely telling. Liberals are quick to talk about “threats to our institutions,” but suddenly they lose their voices when the victim is a conservative. Their hypocrisy isn’t just annoying, it’s dangerous.
Americans should be asking: How many more times will leftist hate get swept under the rug, simply because the target is someone the establishment doesn’t like? Maybe the only lesson here is that, for liberals, “tolerance” is just a buzzword when it fits their agenda.
