The left is losing its mind because President Trump just saved America from yet another expensive, useless “green energy” disaster. Democrats in Congress are throwing a fit as the administration spends nearly $2 billion to pull the plug on offshore wind projects. Of course, liberals see government handouts to wind companies as their sacred cow—but ask them about real American jobs or energy independence, and suddenly they disappear.
Let’s be honest: offshore wind is a sinking ship. The wind industry promised thousands of jobs and endless “clean” energy, but what did America really get? Huge costs, abandoned equipment, wrecked coastal views, and giant subsidies that only make greedy corporations richer. Meanwhile, the people footing the bill are ordinary taxpayers who just want cheaper gas and lights that stay on. All for what? To make a few woke billionaires smile and keep climate cultists happy.

Democrats love to scream about “environmental justice,” but offshore wind farms were destroying marine life and hurting local workers. While coastal communities pleaded for help, Democrats looked the other way. They were too busy flying to green energy conferences in private jets. Now, when Trump stands up to the billionaire wind barons, who steps in to investigate? The same liberals who never investigated ballooning costs, backroom deals, or failing wind turbines.
Only Washington could find a way to reward failure with billions of our dollars. Instead of protecting taxpayer cash, the left is furious that President Trump is finally calling out the green energy scam. Democrats pretend to care about Americans, but their actions serve only globalist agendas and coastal elites. Real Americans aren’t fooled.
Let’s face it: Trump did what needed to be done. He’s making the tough calls, ending wasteful projects, and putting America first—even if the left can’t stand it. If Democrats cared half as much about American workers as they do about their precious windmills, maybe our energy bills wouldn’t be through the roof. If offshore wind were such a shining success, why are companies begging to be let off the hook?
