In response to Elon Musk's statement about the company's compliance with government censorship requests, Robert Kennedy Jr., the Democratic presidential candidate, supported the Twitter owner. Kennedy noted that Musk was correct in saying that the company had no choice but to do so.

In response to a Bloomberg article, which claimed that Twitter had approved 83 percent of the requests made by governments for censorship, Musk said that the platform had no choice but to comply. He then asked where the government had an actual choice, and he promised to reverse it.
Prior to Turkey's presidential election, Twitter had removed several of its accounts at the government's request. The company later vowed to fight against the court's order. In response to questions about how Twitter would comply with different regulations in different countries, Musk said that the company would do so.
Even though Musk has made efforts to comply with the laws in other nations, Twitter may still face legal repercussions if it doesn't do so. On Tuesday, the Daily Fetched reported that if Musk refuses to accept the European Union's demand for state censorship, Twitter may be banned in the region.
Officials from the European Union criticized the decision of Musk to remove Twitter from the bloc's online censorship project. Jean-Noel Barrot of France, the Digital Minister, noted that the platform was a threat to democracy.
Ultimately, Kennedy's endorsement of Musk's statement shows that not everyone in the Democratic Party supports government censorship. It's crucial that the country's policymakers put an end to this practice, as well as other countries around the world. Kennedy clearly understands the principles of democracy, and he has supported the freedom of expression and speech.
