Second GOP Debate Lineup Revealed: Who Made The Cut?

The second primary debate for the 2024 Republican presidential candidates has been scheduled, and it will be an all-out battle that you won't want to miss. It will be hosted by Fox Business and will take place at the Ronald Reagan Library in California.

To be eligible for the debate, candidates had to secure at least 50,000 unique donors and at least 200 individuals from each of the twenty-four states and territories. For the event's first debate, the requirements were even more stringent.

Besides money, the candidates had to prove their worth in the polls. In order to be included in the debate, they had to poll at or around three percent in at least two national polls and two polls conducted in early voting states such as Nevada, Iowa, South Carolina, or New Hampshire. These polls must be recognized by the RNC. It's a tight race, but getting on the stage is important for any candidate.

Although there are numerous fine print details, the candidates who will be participating in the debate have to sign a pledge that they will support the eventual nominee of the Republican Party. They must also agree to only participate in sanctioned debates and not to run as an independent or third-party candidate.

Who made the cut? No surprise there, as Donald Trump, the former president who hasn't been mentioned in any official political circles yet, is expected to make a splash. Other notable individuals who were able to secure their spots include Nikki Haley, a former US ambassador to the UN, Mike Pence, the former Indiana governor, and Vivek Ramaswamy, an entrepreneur from India.

Follow along with us as the debate nears. It's where the real action will happen, and these candidates will not hold back. We're in for a wild ride.
