What is Washington finally doing? Dusting off a playbook that actually worked—putting the might of American industry back into action, just like we did during World War II.
Right now, the Trump administration is waking up and calling on American automakers to shift gears—literally. The factories that once rolled out shiny new cars for Main Street may soon brace America’s defenses, cranking out weapons to refill our depleted stockpiles. It’s a move that screams common sense and patriotism. Only someone in love with globalism and weakness would find fault with that.

For far too long, feckless politicians and their pals in the liberal media told us we could slack off on security, outsource vital industries, and trust the world to play nice. What did that get us? Rampant instability overseas and a U.S. arsenal running on empty. Liberals wag their fingers at any sign of American strength, but when tough times come, they hide behind the very military they’ve tried to gut.
By calling on Detroit and others to join the fight, the message is clear: America is going to stand up for itself, not grovel to China or sit around waiting for NATO to bail us out. When Americans pull together, no force on earth can stop us. This is about more than weapons; it’s about waking up our patriotic heart and reminding the world that the U.S. means business.
Liberals can complain all they want about “war machines” and “military spending,” but the truth is: peace through strength works. Does anyone think Vladimir Putin or the terrorists in Gaza are going to respect a country that can’t build what it needs to defend itself? Weakness invites chaos. Maybe it takes a little made-in-America grit to set things right. Isn’t it time the rest of Washington caught up?
