Eric Swalwell’s political run didn’t end with dignity—it crashed and burned with the whole country watching. And Greg Gutfeld absolutely wrecked what was left of this failed Democrat’s shaky reputation on national television. Swalwell walked away from Congress in shame, hounded by allegations of sexual misconduct and even rape, but let’s not kid ourselves—these scandals were just the final nail in the coffin.
Swalwell was never anything more than a useful puppet for the left. Democrats, desperate to prop up empty suits who parrot their talking points, clenched their jaws and looked away every time something fishy swirled around this guy. They protected him, spun for him, and pretended he was some kind of rising star, even as truth and common sense begged to differ. The only thing Swalwell ever seemed good at was jumping in front of a camera to accuse others. When it came time to answer serious questions himself, he always ran and hid.

The mainstream media, as usual, bent over backwards to shield him. This is the same press that trashes conservatives for sneezing the wrong way, yet they ignored every red flag waving over Swalwell’s head. If anyone on the right faced these kinds of accusations, you’d see 24/7 chyrons, “exclusive reports,” and breathless condemnation from every liberal talking head. But when the scandal hits their own, it’s crickets, deflection, and damage control.
Swalwell’s career is a living, breathing example of everything wrong with today’s Democrat Party. These leftists care more about identity politics and globalist causes than they do about the American people. They’ll back anyone—no matter how sketchy—if they think it helps their fake narrative. Accountability? That’s for conservatives, not for Democrat insiders like Swalwell.
Gutfeld didn’t just expose Swalwell. He ripped the mask off the entire Democratic machine that enabled this disaster. Maybe next time, liberals will think twice before turning a liability into a leader. Then again, with their track record, does anyone really believe they can tell the difference?
